ALL Pre-schoolers are Geniuses
Three year olds who have learned their letters and sounds using ArbeZ ZebrA Teaches A to Z
Welcome to the World of Literacy Education
I am an educator who created this Blog to introduce materials I have self-published to help you teach young children to read. Ten steps you should use to teach anyone to read are listed at the right. I have created materials to help you do this. I will publish all of them ASAP, after I fully launch my first books, ArbeZ ZebrA Teaches A to Z with its partner book Handwriting Begins with Art. Please help me get these books marketed by sending addresses for my blog and web site to everyone you know who has contact with someone who needs to learn to read!

Gain Literacy Skills
I'm a senior citizen, new to the world of creating web sites and blogs. Please excuse my lack of knowledge in these areas as you see what I've created using the technology I DO understand!
I've been successfully teaching children to read WELL for many years, using TRICKS that I've developed. For decades, I have created materials to help ALL students succeed, from pre-schoolers through Junior High students.
Over the years, parents, teachers and others have encouraged me to publish my creations that have helped my students learn to read WELL. My first self-published set of books is now available.
Looking at my self-created web site: http://gainliteracyskills.com/ will give you an idea of how this system will help you teach a young child to read. You will see a testimonials page, with a few comments from parents of a few of my former students, as well as pages of photos, samples, educational standards and more.
Following is a brief description of each book in the set of four that are currently available:
Volume One of ArbeZ ZebrA Teaches A to Z is a colorful ABC book with delightful pictures and jingles that teach letters and sounds to toddlers and preschoolers.
Volume Two is a manual teaching the tricks and techniques I used and developed over decades.
Volume Three contains color-coded manipulatives that make learning to read a kinesthetic activity; children with learning disabilities tend to be kinesthetic learners, i.e. they learn best by manipulating objects.
Volume Four is Handwriting Begins with Art, a 165 page Jumbo Book of Black-line Masters that develop fine motor skills as children are taught to correctly form letters inside shapes. Fine Motor Skills and correct letter formation are critical for success in school. This book is printed on one side only for use by homeschooled children.
